Thanks for this. It does show the power of advertising because I stopped reading the poster half way through and played that irritating dum-dum-dum-dum jingle in my head.

This made me laugh for a different reason. The "t-word" is considered very rude here (Canada) - akin to the "c-word" (see you next tuesday), so it was surprising to see it in a newspaper in that particular context.

Words are funny. A couple of years ago I was talking with an Irish friend and made mention of my fanny (bum, arse, rear-end) and he almost had a fit, looking around all embarrassed to see if anyone had heard me. Even worse? Those hip sacks, a la 80's nerd wear, are called fanny packs. I had to take him for counselling.....
