Michael Landy's piece is genius, he made a few such pieces, one of which we used as a focus for a service we had here a while back. Also well worth checking out his house installation in Tate Britain.

thanks ben - i intended to check out the martin creed exhibition you blogged about but ran out of energy/time...

my wife and i enjoyed (that's not the right word) lingering in the scrapheap room for quite a while in late August. such a powerful piece. same day we'd run into Andrew Jones in the gift shop a few floors down.

after going there we went to belgos - first time since i was there with you!....

i went there the same day i was at the TM also! mmm. my favorite restaurant in London (not that i've sampled that many).

I went there last week, and Scrapheap Services was one of my favourite works. I actually took one of the paper figures from off the floor!

i've got a couple as well :-)

where i come across creative ideas, liturgies, movies, music tracks, service outlines or anything that strikes me, i add them as worship tricks. i started these in april 2002 when i first began blogging and they have built up over the years so that i am now on the third series. this has proved a pretty popular feature of the blog.
