ages back i mentioned mark roques book on the kingdom of god and football... rocky (as he is known to his friends) is being interviewed along with michael owen (real madrid), sir alex ferguson (manchester united), jermaine defoe (spurs) robbie fowler (manchester city) and freddie lundberg (arsenal). impressive eh?! the programme will be broadcast on channel 4 sunday january 30 at 8 pm. it is called hallowed be thy game.

Thanks for the tip-off Jonny. I like Mark's book. Should be an interesting programme. Takes me back to co-hosting a v. popular seminar/show at Greenbelt in the 90s, God's Game, title based on an alleged Pele quote, format nicked from Baddiel and Skinner. Reckon that idea still has legs...
