one in twelve people in the world live in an indian village and the story of local mission to those villages needs to be told more often. also, good to se you reporting on the way inducement to conversion is viewed here. it is a VERY sticky issue for everyone here, even in relief and aid.

great stuff jonny! thanks for letting us in on your journey!
powerful! and the fact that the " tradtional" church cannot figure out what to do with
the tribal christians sounds sooo familiar! love that jesus! he just loves to blow our
paradigms...just like him to go to the lowest of the low and love them! thanks again
safe travels too!

hi Jonny, thanks for posting photos and some description of your time in India. I spent six months in Bangalore so it's good to see a few familiar sights...and i too spent time with people from young life.

If you like ice-cream, try and get to Corner house. As far as i remember it's on Residency road. It's the best!

Have fun!

interesting stuff... check out christianity rediscovered by vincent donovan... he had a similar experience with the maasai people in tanzania...also love to martin m who i think is also on your team!

where i come across creative ideas, liturgies, movies, music tracks, service outlines or anything that strikes me, i add them as worship tricks. i started these in april 2002 when i first began blogging and they have built up over the years so that i am now on the third series. this has proved a pretty popular feature of the blog.
