... sorry for the double post... but just realised that it comes in cheaper than my Powerbook 15, 1.67sd did 5 months ago!!! Good things truly come to those that wait!

At first, i thought man, i wish i had waited. I bought my powerbook at the end of August for the start of school. But, in retrospect, i think i am happy i went ahead. If one waits for Apple, once you buy from them, it's obsolete in a month or so anyways. And, i am not so sure about this intel thing and the new name. Just my thoughts! :)

whilst i like some things like the new power plug and built in isight, i can't seem to shake the feeling of dis-ease. no firewire 800 seems odd in a "pro-oriented" machine for starters. moreover, all the "speed" oriented marketing seems like it tries too hard.
i bought my 12 inch powerbook in sept and feel more than OK with it, especially since there is no 12 inch macbook yet. however, if they had made a 12 inch macbook, with the dual specs, digital audio in and out, firewire 800 and better screen I would certainly have been kicking myself.
