Lord forgive me for my selfish ways, Chelsea being British and all that, but as my team were dumped out (Champs league and now the FA cup), let me enjoy the silky skills of the smiley brazilian with the dazzling teeth and feet who should have come to Manchester (why pick Barcelona - all that sun and stuff).
Sorry jonny, no loyalty to the boys in blue, well not till some of them pull on the white shirt of England at least...should be a good game mind, lookin forward to seeing Messi

Sounds like quite an event.
My name is Bryan. I'm now leading an alt.Worship experience in the Midwestern USA and I have been very much inspired by some of your experiences as you have blogged them. Thanks for the inspiration. Please keep ours in your thoughts and prayers as we are praying to reach out to our community in the best way possible. God bless you.

Awesome stuff from Barca, now that's football...

i've been waiting for someone to comment! yeah barca are a great team - really exciting game. shame about the sending off... but it ain't over yet. chelsea were 2-1 down going into the second leg last year. football's weird. some of my friends who support other teams get on your side in europe - i must have had about 25 texts through the game. but others (bitter and twisted fans of sides that have already been knocked out mainly) can't wait for other british sides to get knocked out. i guess i am in the first school - i found myself supporting arsenal the other night (they had a fantastic win over real madrid) partly because of friends i have who are arsenal fans...

United fans? Bitter? Twisted? Can't think what you're on about there ;-)
You'll soon learn, everyone loves to hate the best.
Was a great game... My biggest worry now is England meeting Argentina again with that Wunderkind Messi. He was unbelievable. "The only player worthy of my shirt" Thus says Maradona. High praise indeed from the small plump one.
