my brother gave me an early birthday present of taking me to see chelsea v liverpool today which chelsea won 2-0 - convincingly in the end. after a good start liverpool just seemed to run out of ideas. the blues are still 15 points clear at the top of the premiership...
i've added a few pictures i took to flickr , but i love this one of my brother looking slightly pyscho after chelsea's first goal!
hmm... wouldn't say we ran out of ideas but were just a bit gutted when you scored after we had so much possession... c'est la vie! Glad you enjoyed the match, I watched it with Glen Roeder... no honestly!!!

I loved seeing the little Chelsea mascot offering his hand to 'Diver' Gerrard in the tunnel then withdrawing it and thumbing his nose at him. Fantastic.
(Someone please warn him not to try it again on Wednesday vs. Duncan Ferguson)

And the Oscar for best actor goes to.....
Fair play to Chelsea, you put the ball in the back of the net and we didn't, so you won as much as it sickens me to see it and say it.

yes indeed - good acting by robben though reina was still out of order to push him in the face and should arguably have gone for that in itself... maybe he learned a thing or two about acting from watching liverpool the week before and that hysterical dive by gronkaamp or whatever his name is?! ;-)

I don't think Dave and I will be coaching our sons team to act like either Robben or Kromkamp - that's how you spell it!
Come on Barcelona - not that we are bitter or twisted!
