sorry babe, the film on top of the TV is 13 conversations about one thing which is not the same as Thirteen.

doh! well we should add thirteen to the list...

13 Conversations About One Thing is an amazing film...You should definitely watch it!

thirteen is a very interesting film, written by and codirected by a teenager, but its like theyve tried to throw almost everything that could go wrong as a teenager into one person, sure it happens but its still hard to deal with.

some very shocking scenes, but that last scene that kenda likes to use is a corker.

Paul Fromont

What was the scene that Kenda used?

ben bell

thirteen is a good film and worth seeing, but it's not amazing. the pudding is over egged in a holywood style - kidulthood and bullet boy are much more gritty and realistic in terms of london youth. All these films help us to 'feel' the struggle of being young and perhaps remember and reflect.

paul - i haven't seen the film but is was the scene where the girl is challenged about her drug use etc and her mum is basically there for her...

Tom Allen

Which two? - which do you think is missing? One of the flaws of "Generation Y" is the failure to recognise how this generation have replaced formal worship with music (and concerts/dance events in particular) for their spiritual experiences.

transcendence and communion

where i come across creative ideas, liturgies, movies, music tracks, service outlines or anything that strikes me, i add them as worship tricks. i started these in april 2002 when i first began blogging and they have built up over the years so that i am now on the third series. this has proved a pretty popular feature of the blog.
