i saw this piece in the window of the offices of channel 4. it reminded me of the challenges in thinking about leadership in alternative worship and emerging church circles. no wonder we can't get anything done!

Just FYI, looks like a Mark Titchener Piece - he exhibited down at the Bristol Arnolfini last month.
He has another great piece which is the most saccharine sweet statement of aspiration , cribbed together from the missions statements of the 10 biggest companies in the world ...

Well after 10 years involved in leadership in the church and six more as a follower, I am firmly in agreement with the slogan. In fact, I reckon it is part of my core beliefs.
Yes to supporting an individual's initiatives. Yes, to taking initiatives myself. No to being part of an organisation whose ethos and structures are dictated by some leader. Even if it is me.
