back in 2003 a few of us met in paris hosted by matt glock to join in encouraging what we then called 'l'église en devenir' (the emerging church). as part of that gathering we were privileged to hear and meet jean hassenforder who runs témoins, an organisation/movemmet exploringing gospel and culture issues in france. out of the blue i got an e-mail from him this week saying he had written a feature on my blog for the témoins site. it never ceases to surprise me how blogging makes connections round the world. merci jean...

Zut alors! what fun! I shall very sadly ENJOY reading about it all in French as I've not used my French in ages!

this makes me wonder whether you, jonny, or anyone else out there has any info about emerging church explorations in the spanish speaking world? i am working in chile as a mission partner of the british methodist church, but haven't found anything as yet which has been born from this - or indeed any other - Spanish-speaking context... any pointers?

ok, so we will have to get on with something with no safety net...unless anyone else has a lead for us to follow...?
by the way, jonny, really enjoy your blog - keeps me up to date with various stuff in the uk while we are far away, and often inspires me - thanks
