Cavendish is good, but it still wasn't good enough to win the green jersey! I actually thought it was a phenomenal effort from Hushovd, with less support from his team to win some key sprints over Cavendish. Plus his effort on that climb was fantastic.
Sorry, you were probably just trying to be parochial and an Aussie (who needs something other than cricket to talk about) tries to ruin it.

does hushovd have a team? - he just free loads on columbia's lead out - a parasite!!!! but he is a good rider. i can't understand how you have a sprint competition that the best sprinter (who wins a mind blowing 6 stages) doesn't win and a mountain competition that the two best climbers don't win (schleck and contador)?! we used to love watching robbie mcewen - seems like cav has taken his mantle...
