i don't quite know how i missed this before but maybe seth godin posts so much stuff it's easy to do! anyway via mark sayers i spotted this very short e-book/pdf - really bad powerpoint and how to avoid it. what he says is so obvious that it's amazing! the one thing it made me realise that i hadn't realised before is how much i dislike giving people my presentations - because they are best experienced. so that's it - in future you have to be there and you'll get a handout summary...

this causes me to ask [as i often have] who microsoft's template designers were. it's the same across all the Office suite.
