this week i am the guest blogger at share and have blogged on dreamers who do
in september there is a breakout conference which is a gathering of pioneers at which i have been invited to be the main speaker which is fairly daunting but which i'm looking forward to. in the blog post i mention that and some of what hope to be exploring there.
Love your initial thoughts on prophetic imagination. It's something I'm beginning to explore with other artists here in Sheffield. I'm particularly excited about the role of the artist as prophet (went to see the Tracey Emin show on weds and was blown away by her prophetic voice).
I'll be at the conference (am leading an experiential art/meditation session) so look forward to hearing what you have to say.
Every blessing,
Ric

thanks ric. look forward to seeing you. i loved the tracey emin show too - was in there for an age...
artists and prophets and poets inhabit the same sort of imagination i'm sure. totalitarian regimes silence artists because they sense the danger!

HI Jonny
as a member of Third Space (a small missional community in Derbyshire) we would have loved to attend the conference - but it's just a wee bit frustrating that it's held mid-week -so is difficult for us to attend because of Mon-Friday work commitments - Just wondered if it's so the main speakers can headback to their established churches for the Sunday?!;)
thanks so much again for the blog - so helpful it is for ideas, resources and conversation starters.

That's a shame Fi. I haven't been involved in organising it but the impression I get is that previous years quite a lot of the people have been full time or ordained pioneers. Hope you are well...
