Thanks Jonny.

It looks great. what would happen if every church/minister had a "side project" that was missional. and for existing pioneers a great way to focus innovation ie do 1 side project at a time.

I have had the same thought. Indeed if I were running a diocese or equivalent I would do exactl that - encourage all churches and leaders to think about a side project aka pioneering mission but equally to see that as the way to cultivate new pioneering projects. Those that flourish can then be helped to grow and move to a further stage. Itr might help to set up an innovation fund or side project fund to help kick start things too.
