cav - what a legend!!!

i am so so delighted cav won his 35th stage at the tour de france making him the winner of the most stages ever surpassing eddy merckx. this has to be up there with the best sporting achievments in the world! i have so enjoyed following his rides over the years. this photo is from 2014 when the tour kicked off in england. he has had his ups and downs including a significant gap from the tour and i don't think anyone thought he would be back in the way he has. not to mention that he is 39 and you simply don't win sprints at that age. i can't quite believe it! the isle of man will be buzzing tonight...
